You might miss the restaurant as you walk by as there is no sign on the outside to be seen
- At least I didn't see it. Located east of Sacre Coeur off the beaten path in rue André Del-Sartre, big bay windows look into a trendy looking neighborhood joint, artistic and eclectic and oh so Montmartre. A place you hear about from a friend of a friend who has eaten there and shares this "secret" with you. A young attentive staff and a cool setting.
Mojitos and caipirihnas and a good selection of wines by the glass or bottle. We are a group of 8 ladies out for a cheerful evening in fine company (those poor waiters)
Noteworthy dishes: mijote chypriote, The artisanal mozzarella with heirloom tomatoes, the home-made mashed potatoes & the tiramisu with amaretto. Yummy!

I love that place - I consider it one of my "dirty little secrets" that I do share with friends and tour guests on occasion! I have stayed on Rue Ch.Nodier right around the corner many times or I would probably never have found it, hope it sticks around!
ReplyDeleteI hope it sticks around too Gwen
